Gonnella Frozen Products is seeking a full-time 3rd shift Quality Lab associate to perform all facets of quality bakes. Responsible for performing test bakes and keeping detailed written records and evaluations of product performance from the thawing stage to the baking stage, and the final scoring of the product. Also responsible for preparation of quality bake paperwork, verifying times of pulled samples to account for missing samples, baking off quality samples, set-up of sample racks and shelf life bake. Accountable for special equipment care needs for testing equipment and work stations in the quality lab. In addision, an ideal candidate works as a team player encompassing strong interpersonal and communication skills, knowing when to take command and work independently utilizing analytical and problem solving skills to maintain a flowing, functioning work environment. B.S or college degree in science or degrees relating to baking are preferred but not required.

Gonnella Frozen Products candidates should be perpared to work days and nights as well as weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Applicants must be in good physical health with ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move products up to 50lbs. Position is hands on and requires regular physical activity including climbing, balancing, stooping, walking, etc.; our employees spend much of the day working on their feet.

We are looking for a team member who will follow proper procedures for baking all products manufactured as well as actively develop a working knowledge of the processes involved in the production of frozen dough and basic food safety.
