Responsible for functioning with general supervision from the Production Manager. Managing day to day tasks and activities of all departments on the off shifts. Training and delegating authority to the supervisors and key subordinates of the production, quality, sanitation, shipping/receiving, and maintenance departments to achieve plant objectives and goals. Provides leadership and insuring clear communication of instructions to create understanding across all departments during the off shifts. Acts as a liaison between the off shifts and department managers. Work on continuous improvement of KPI’s. Employee engagement to ensure appropriate training and development of hourly workforce.

Job Requirements:

• Must have 5-7 years of demonstrated Supervisory and Leadership experience

• Must demonstrate ability to manage on production floor 70% of the time and process administrative tasks 30% of the time

• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of organization

• Must have employee engagement leadership skills

• Must be able to develop action plans and execute them

• Must be able to work in flour dust environment and work in holding freezer when needed

• Must demonstrate ability to maintain quality of product and safety of workforce

• Must be customer centric/focused

• Must have leadership development skills

• Perform all other duties as assigned

• Bachelor Degree required

Preferred Requirements:

• 3-5 years of Operations or Shift Management experience

• 5 years of food industry Supervisory experience

• Previous Operations Management experience in bread industry
