Nutritional experts have
once again emphasized the importance of bread in your daily diet.
The USDA recommends that you eat 6-11 servings daily from the Bread,
Cereal, Rice and Pasta Group as part of a well-balanced diet. By
increasing your daily servings of bread (one slice of bread equals
one serving) you will increase the carbohydrates, vitamins, nutrients
and fiber recommended by the USDA. Use the Food Guide Pyramid to
help you eat better everyday as recommended by the Dietary Guidelines.
