Open-Faced Taco Loaves

  Skillet 6 to 8 servings Broiler
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package (1 1/4 oz.) Taco Seasoning
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 can (15 oz.) Refried Beans with Green Chiles
  • 2 loaves Gonnella French Twins, split
  • 1/4 cup Picante Salsa
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 8 pitted ripe olives, thinly sliced

Cook beef, seasoning and water in skillet according to package directions. Preheat broiler. Spread about 1/2 cup beans on each bread half; spoon on beef mixture, dividing evenly. Top each half with 1 tablespoon salsa and 1/4 cup cheese; sprinkle with olives, dividing evenly. Broil 5 to 7 minutes, until cheese is bubbly. Slice and serve immediately.
