Gonnella Health Fair 2017: A Healthy Ending

Gonnella ends its Health & Wellness program with a successful Health Fair for each of the three facilities located in Aurora, Pennsylvania and Schaumburg! 

From SlimPossible Weight Management Program, Fitness Day, Nutrition Classes, Biometrics to the Health Fair, Gonnella’s Health & Wellness program was deemed to be a well-rounded approach to teaching healthy habits to the whole Gonnella community. It was a four-month long program that ran from July to November 2017. The program started off with the SlimPossible weigh-in activity and the Health Fair was the finale to this health-intensive program! Various activities ran simultaneously all throughout the day of the fair.  There were exhibit booths from Gonnella partners such as Amita Health Medical Care Group, Blue Cross Blue Shield, BMO Harris Bank, CIGNA, Costco, Sam’s Club and WorkPlace Solutions. Gideon Akande, the popular Chicago-based professional health & wellness coach, conducted another round of fitness routine all throughout the day. Flu shots were given as well as therapeutic massages.  Pocket activities were also conducted like the Scavenger Hunt contest and the raffle activity. Gonnella even had an all-out healthy buffet the entire day for everybody.  Of course, the event would not be complete without the free Gonnella bag and shirt for all the employees who joined!

The Health & Wellness program is one of the ways for Gonnella to foster a healthy workplace culture!  Already on its fourth year, this program has created so much enthusiasm for attaining healthy habits within the Gonnella community all throughout the years.  Watch our Health Fair 2017 video highlights.
