Growing Up With Gonnella
From our humble beginnings in a storefront bakery on De Koven Street in
Chicago in 1886 to our six facilities across the country today, Gonnella has
been a staple in homes throughout the Chicago area for years.
2011 marks our 125th year of serving up the finest French Bread in all the
land. We are an Italian family that perfected the art of baking French
Bread, our crisp-crusted, aromatic breads have had Chicagoans exclaiming "Gonnella, that's swella, fella!" for generations. If that phrase rings a
bell, we'd like to hear from you.
As we reach this milestone, we are proud to celebrate our 125th anniversary
with the driving force behind what we do every day, the very people who made
it all possible YOU!
