Description:

A 2nd shift Quality Baker will responsible to perform all aspects of quality bakes, test bakes and keeping detailed written records and evaluations of product performance from the thawing stage to the baking stage, and the final scoring of the product. Also responsible for preparation of quality bake, verifying times of pulled samples, account for missing samples, baking off quality samples, set-up of sample racks, and shelf life bake. Accountable for special equipment care needs, testing equipment and work stations in the quality lab.

In addition, an ideal candidate works as a team player encompassing strong interpersonal and communication skills and work independently utilizing analytical and problem solving skills to maintain a flowing, functioning work environment. 

Candidates should be prepared to work evening as well as weekends, and overtime as needed. This position requires to be on your feet much of the day.

  • Must have prior baking experience
  • Must have knowledge and experience working with ovens
  • Must have computer experience, data entry
  • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force to move, lift, and dump ingredients.
  • Must be able to work a evening shift, schedule starting at 12:00pm.
  • Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
