Supervises plant production line workers with an emphasis on teamwork and safety with overall company goals and vision. To produce the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost. Responsible to direct, coordinate and manage all production, shipping, and sanitation activities within the plant. Prioritize workload in order to manage team hours. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance, may become actively involved as required to meet schedules and resolve problems.
Job Requirements:

Must have prior manufacturing experience; food manufacturing ideal.

Good communication skills in a prior leadership role.

Support Maintenance and Production Supervisors daily on production line issues.

Maintains effective communications between departments. Identifies significant issues related to quality, safety, down time, production problems or any other unexpected issues to meet customer needs.

Must be able a problem solver, analyze production runs and make suggestions for improvement.

Investigate and resolve production and personnel issues as they arise.

Ensures that at the end of the shift all documentation pertinent to production: materials, employee hours, and counts are accurate. Completes all required information tracking and data collection.

Pro-active response to down time and rapid shift and product changeovers.

Shifts can be from 8-10 hour, 5-6 days a week.

Reliability and dependability is a key factor for success.

Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.
