Candidate will be responsible for operating all equipment (Multi-Stage Ingredient Mixer, Divider, Moulder, sheeters, Timing Belts, etc.) in the production of raw dough to company standards. Significant amount of time spent in scaling dry ingredients and mixing large (500-lb. +) dough’s. Conduct weighing and measuring of ingredients to operate mixers. Accurately pre-scale raw ingredients and verify weight of all ingredients. Adjust moulding boards and sheeters. Stretch dough to correct lengths and cut and tie dough to form various products. Maintain control of dough temperature.
Job Requirements: •Able to lift up to 50 pounds •Able to move, lift and dump ingredients up to 20 pounds •Able to check dough consistency is accurate and up to quality standards •Ability to use independent judgment to problem solve issues •Must be able to read, write and speak English •Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Requirements: •1 year of experience in mixing 300lbs or greater doughs Gonnella Baking Co. celebrates the major milestone of 130 years in the bread baking business, mixing high technology with old world traditions.
